David Muir is an American anchor and journalist popular for his ABC news show World News Tonight with David Muir in addition to the ABC News magazine 20/20, for where he acts as anchorman and co-anchor. Before he took over ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for his predecessor Diane Sawyer.
